Start your 2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora with a pick up from your hotel/riad by our English-speaking driver/guide at 8:00 AM. You will pass over the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the top to enjoy a panoramic view of the road, stretch your legs and have a cup of coffee. Upon arrival at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the UNESCO World Heritage site, you will have free time to enjoy the full Kasbah, take photos and learn about local life. From here you continue driving to Zagora, passing Ouarzazate — the gateway to the Sahara desert — then continue through Zagora along the Daraa Valley. Once you arrive at Zagora you will ride camels for an hour over the Zagora desert and watch a spectacular sunset before riding your camel back to your Sahara desert camp for the night. There you will feast on tagine and bread and enjoy a night of local Berber entertainment, including singing and drumming around the campfire under a sky full of stars.
On the second day you wake up early to catch the sunrise, then ride the camels back to the 4×4 vehicle to begin the drive back to Marrakech. Enjoy the desert road until arriving in Ouarzazate for free exploration of the city and its kasbah, including the Atlas Film Studios. You will have lunch there before driving back over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and on to Marrakech, where your 2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora ends. ## Highlights - High Atlas Mountains & Tizi-n-Tichka pass - Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage) - Ouarzazate & Atlas Film Studios - Daraa Valley - Camel ride and sunset in the Zagora desert - Overnight in a Sahara desert camp ## Gallery
